Description
A sailboat has arrived at Frenchman Bay in Maine which is the large body of ocean between the northeastern shoreline of Mount Desert Island and the southern coast of Maine extending along the western shoreline of Schoodic Peninsula. It was named in honor of the famous French Explorer Samuel de Champlain who first sailed in and charted this area for France in early September of 1604.
This creative art image is part of my photographic art series. When creating digital art, I use one or more of my photographs and a varying combination of several digital tools to create a uniquely original work of art.

I have always loved days like this when I was sailing with the cool breeze and warm sun. Gorgeous capture.
