Description
Lower Yellowstone Falls is, of course, located in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Yellowstone Falls actually consists of two major waterfalls on the Yellowstone River. As the Yellowstone river flows north from Yellowstone Lake, it leaves the Hayden Valley and plunges first over Upper Yellowstone Falls and then a quarter mile downstream over Lower Yellowstone Falls.

John, I can just hear the rush of water over the rocks and feel the mist on my face--picturing what it must have been like to hike out and be rewarded with such a gem to capture! Fave! L/F/FB/P!
