This was a great time to explore the Badlands. A local couple told us we had timed our visit to the Badlands just right. In another two weeks the place would be like a furnace. Ah, good fortune! Heavy Spring rains result in a luscious carpeting of green grasslands. This image was taken in The Badlands National Park, South Dakota.
