Fishing boats congregate between the old and new Seven Mile Bridges in the Florida Keys as evening advances. The bridge on the left is the newer version which connect Marathon Key to Bahia Honda Key and is part of the Overseas Highway connecting the Florida mainland to Key West. The bridge on the right is the original. A section is still open for bicyclists and walkers. It is a 1.2 mile walk on this link between Maraton and Cabbage Key. Evening is a popular time for getting out. The original Seven Mile Bridge is a converted railroad bridge after the the railroad ceased in 1935. The handrails are the original rails from the bridge when it was part of the Overseas Railroad.

Welcome to the Touching Light Photography and Digital Art Galleries. In these galleries you will find an ever growing portfolio of high quality images and art of places I've been privileged to visit across the U.S. and from around Florida where I have been blessed to live. I have always enjoyed the challenge of capturing what I see and feel. After retiring from a career in Aerospace I have been able to devote myself to so many different aspects of photography and photographic art. The process of discovering, capturing and sharing the results with you has been great fun. I am very active on social media. Please visit and "Like" my Facebook page, JB Face Book.
