Description
Stormy skies hang over Indiana Dunes. Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore was authorized by Congress in 1966. The association of State and National Parks contain a widw variety of landscape ranging from grasslands to mountainous sand dunes to sandy beaches. The national lakeshore runs for nearly 25 miles along the southern shore of Lake Michigan, in Beverly Shores, Indiana. Large sand dunes, which have taken thousands of years to form, tower nearly 200 feet above Lake Michigan.
This image is a photographic based black and white artwork with a hint of yellow added. I work with one of my photographs (sometimes more than one), using several professional digital tools in multiple steps, to create a one of a kind work of art. I call the outcome photographic art and am quite proud to include it in my gallery. Many of the photographs that I use in this process are also available in its original photographic form elsewhere in my gallery. Both these creative processes, photography and digital art, stimulate my passion and satisfy my need to create.

A well framed composition with excellent textures and a great looking sky that adds a lot to the shot, John! Well captured! L/F
