Description
Part of the San Francisco cityscape viisible from Pier 39 is this section of buildings with Coit Tower in the middle. Coit Tower was built in 1933 and provides a panoramic view of the city and bay. Inside the tower are a number of murals created under the auspises of the Federal Public Works of Art Project (PWAP), a program to employ artists, as part of the New Deal, during the Great Depression.
This image is part of my photographic art series. I use several digital tools working off of one of my photographs. It gives me great satisfaction to produce one of these artworks.
