Description
Per Wikipedia, the American flag consists of thirteen horizontal stripes of red (top and bottom) alternating with white, with a blue rectangle in the canton (referred to specifically as the "union") bearing fifty stars. The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states of the United States of America, and the 13 stripes represent the thirteen British colonies that declared independence from Great Britain, and became the first states in the U.S. Nicknames for the flag include the Stars and Stripes,Old Glory, and the Star-Spangled Banner.
This photographic based artwork is an unique creation. I work with one of my photographs (sometimes more than one), using several professional digital tools in multiple steps, to create a one of a kind work of art. I call the outcome photographic art and am quite proud to include it in my gallery. Many of the photographs that I use in this process are also available in its original photographic form elsewhere in my gallery. Both these creative processes, photography and digital art, stimulate my passion and satisfy my need to create.

Very nice photography work, John! Perfectly sharp subject focus, contrasting light, complementary colors, cropped in framing on the subject, no background distractions, although a hint of clouds help to make the background more interesting and created depth to the composition. Well done - FAV
