This image shows a beautiful landscape of rolling hills in Custer State Park, South Dakota. Located in the Black Hills, the park is South Dakota's largest and first state park. The countryside varies from forests to open, hilly range land, to striking rock formations. The park is named after Lt. Colonel George Armstrong Custer and covers an area of over 71,000 acres. It is home to many wild animals including about 1300 bison...and a whole lot of Prairie Dogs.
