Description
This is a photographic art portrait of a Roseate Spoonbill (Platalea ajaja). The Spoonie is a wading bird of the ibis and spoonbill family. It is a resident in South America mostly east of the Andes, and in coastal regions of the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, the Gulf Coast of the United States and on central Florida's Atlantic coast. This was taken at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge which is also the home of the NASA Kennedy Space Center.
This art piece is part of my photographic art series. I use several digital tools working off of one of my photographs. It gives me great satisfaction to produce each of these unique works.

Sweet image, and I like what you did with it, John! A bit whimsical. Love what looks like curiosity of the spoonbill! F/L
