This Devils Tower abstract is a digital woodburning of the famous monument. Devils Tower National Monument, Wyoming is considered sacred by many Native Americans. One does feel a certain presence or atmosphere in its vicinity and the tower is a dominating presence on the landscape. Interestingly, the official name does not have an apostrophe in it. That's how it was recorded in official documents in the 1800's and so it remains.
