Description
Looking down from Rainbow Point lookout at Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah, the details of the carvings and colors are startling. It is hard to believe you are still on Earth. Rainbow Point Lookout sits at 9115 ft. above sea level and is one of many natural amphitheaters that make up the park.

The balance of lines and textures of rock formation is stunning. It creates a sense of harmony and gives the viewer a sense of balance.

It looks like the kind of drip sand castles we used to build at the seashore. Lovely work, John. F/L+++

F/L This is a fantastic capture of these hoodoos in the canyon, Your depth of field and the lighting have produced a wonderful feeling of depth where the hoodoos stand out nicely. It is very nice to see the trees included in this scene.

So stark but so beautiful. I like that I can see the layers or strata in the rocks...So old!
