The Eastern Brown Pelican is common along Florida's coasts, but rarely seen inland or very far out to sea. They feed by diving into the ocean and retrieving their catch. They can look comical and ungainly on the ground but are graceful fliers. These guys were relaxing on the pier at Cedar Key, Florida.
This photographic based artwork is an unique creation. I work with one of my photographs (sometimes more than one), using several professional digital tools in multiple steps, to create a one of a kind work of art. I call the outcome photographic art and am quite proud to include it in my gallery. Many of the photographs that I use in this process are also available in its original photographic form elsewhere in my gallery. Both these creative processes, photography and digital art, stimulate my passion and satisfy my creative persona.

Welcome to the Touching Light Photography and Digital Art Galleries. In these galleries you will find an ever growing portfolio of high quality images and art of places I've been privileged to visit across the U.S. and from around Florida where I have been blessed to live. I have always enjoyed the challenge of capturing what I see and feel. After retiring from a career in Aerospace I have been able to devote myself to so many different aspects of photography and photographic art. The process of discovering, capturing and sharing the results with you has been great fun. I am very active on social media. Please visit and "Like" my Facebook page, JB Face Book.
