Description
The mighty Yellowstone River flows past this old bridge in Yellowstone National Park flowing downward to the Upper and Lower Yellowstone Falls and the striking Yellowstone Canyon. The bridge seen alongside the river is the Canyon Bridge which actually spans Jay Creek. It was built in 1914/15 replacing a wooden bridge built in the late 1800's. The bridges serviced traffic going to a built up area along the North Rim. The structures were removed as part of the effort to maintain the rustic river scene and the bridge is now used by hikers and bikers and is part of the North Rim trailway.

This one is pretty amazing, so good to see lots of strong running water. Yellowstone waterfalls are amazing too! F/L
