This photographic artwork is of an Osprey residing in the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. Numerous Osprey dwell in and around the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge in Central Florida. In fact, many of the surrounding communities have erected nesting areas on tall poles as part of their contribution to the welfare of the Osprey. This one was keeping a close eye on us as we sailed by on the Haulover Canal.
This photographic based artwork is an unique creation. I work with one of my photographs (sometimes more than one), using several professional digital tools in multiple steps, to create a one of a kind work of art. I call the outcome photographic art and am quite proud to include it in my gallery. Many of the photographs that I use in this process are also available in its original photographic form elsewhere in my gallery. Both these creative processes, photography and digital art, stimulate my passion and satisfy my creative persona.
