Description
This covered bridge was originally built in the early 1800s and was considered New Hampshire's oldest covered bridge. It was called the Bagley Covered Bridge and crossed the Warner River. The bridge was dismantled in 1966 and remained preserved in storage for 42 years. In 2008 it was given to the Bascom Center for Visual Arts in Highlands, NC. and serves as the entrance to the Bascom. It was renamed the Will Henry Stevens Covered Bridge in honor of Will Henry Stevens an American modernist painter and naturalist.
